About SI Builders
An independent directory of who is building Super Intelligence, what they are building, how the pieces connect, and where the information came from.
Mission
SI Builders exists to answer one question better than any other site: who is building Super Intelligence, what are they building, and what should builders know? It does that with structured, sourced profiles of companies, people, models and tools, connected to each other, plus a small library of original research and guides.
Independence
SI Builders is independently owned and operated. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by any company, lab or person it profiles. There are no paid listings, sponsored placements or affiliate links. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page where it applies and on this page.
How we use the term "Super Intelligence"
The term currently has two distinct meanings, and we keep them separate on every page where it matters:
- Federal usage. On September 29, 2026, a U.S. executive order directed federal executive agencies to use "Super Intelligence" and "SI" in place of "Artificial Intelligence" and "AI." Under the order, SI currently refers to the same technology the law already defined as AI. A proposed statutory definition is due from the White House science adviser within 60 days; it is a proposal, not an automatic change to the law.
- Research meaning. Intelligence that substantially exceeds human capability, sometimes abbreviated ASI. Several organizations state this as their goal. No current system has achieved it, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming otherwise.
House style writes "Super Intelligence" as two words. Proper names and direct quotes keep their official spelling, for example "Safe Superintelligence Inc." and "Meta Superintelligence Labs."
Who gets a profile
Companies are included when they state Super Intelligence or general-purpose frontier AI as a goal, or when they build the models or infrastructure the field runs on. Builders are included when they lead or founded a listed organization or have a public, documented role in it. Tools are included when they are made by, or built on, a listed company or model. Being listed is a statement about what an organization says it is doing, not an endorsement and not an assessment of capability.
Sourcing standards
Every profile shows its sources and the date it was last verified. We prefer primary sources: an organization's own site, filings, announcements and published research, then reporting from established outlets. Facts that change often, such as pricing, are linked rather than copied. Profiles describe public, professional information only.
Corrections
If something is wrong, out of date, or missing a source, email corrections@sibuilders.io. Material corrections are made on the page and the last-verified date is updated. Dates are never changed only to make a page look fresh.
Rankings
SI Builders does not publish rankings without a visible methodology and measured data. The Terminology Trackeris a dated factual log, not a ranking. An SI Builders Index will be published only once there is enough measured data to make it defensible.
